Portugal is investing in electric cars

The Portuguese government has started an initiative to build a nationwide network of charging stations for electric cars according to Finnish Yle. When the network of charging points are ready it should be possible to charge electric vehicles at over 1300 locations across Portugal and in places like shopping malls, petrol stations and along the highway.

 Premiere of Oxelösunds first public charging stations for electric vehicles. 
Today was inaugurated in the city's first charging station for electric vehicles at Prisma parking in Oxelösund. The electricity company Bixia, network company Oxelö Energy and the municipal of Oxelösund, which together put the charging station to promote the development of future electric vehicles.
