Pierre Loing head of Nissan Europe's product planning and electric cars said during a press briefing that the company is planning three new electric cars in 2014.

The new concept car Cadillac XTS will be built on the Epsilon II platform, the same architecture underneath the Opel Insignia, Buick LaCrosse, the new Buick Regal and the Saab 9-5 . The car carries a lot of the design first seen on the celebrated Sixteen concept.
It will premiere at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 12.

Toyota FT-86 build a sportscar in cooperation with Subaru.
The FT-86 Concept is a performance-oriented small car.The FT-86 is engineered and styled and designed by Toyota, but it uses a 2.0 litre Subaru boxer engine. The engine is Subaru horizontally-opposed engine technology for a lower center of gravity and will be built by Subaru. Toyota is a minority shareholder (17% of Subaru).
