HYUNDAI SONATA HYBRID MADE ITS DEBUTS AT NEW YORK AUTO SHOW 2010
As global automakers work out implementation timing for new fuel-efficient powertrain technologies such as gasoline direct-injection (GDI), twin-scroll turbochargers, and full-hybrid powertrains, Hyundai announced today that the all-new 2011 Hyundai Sonata is the first vehicle in the industry to offer all three technologies with the new Sonata 2.0T (turbo) and Sonata Hybrid joining the hot-selling GDI-equipped Sonata in Hyundai showrooms later this year.

Baldo II is approved for operation on the Swedish roads. When tested at the Swedish vehicle inspection, the vehicle was approved. Baldo means iceberg in Sami and the car is built by Students at Luleå University of Technology. The first version of Baldo made a success of last year's Shell Eco Marathon. The hybrid car took four first prizes and was nominated for two other prizes.

Fisker Automotive is a small start-up company designing a premium super car
that vows to produce 130,000 plug-in hybrids by 2013.
2010 Fisker Carma plug-in hybrid car has been unveiled by Fisker at the North American International Autoshow (NAIAS). Leading designer and CEO danish Henrik Fisker has according to businessweek been approached by mass-market manufacturers to produce one-off designs for hire.
