Mitsubishi iMiEV

I-MiEV  is one of the first electric cars for ordinary consumers. The first cars will be delivered in january 2011 and the car has been mass-produced on a larger scale. Mitsubishi iMiEV also comes as the Peugeot-On and Citroën C-Zero.

The new I-MiEV has been running on Japanese roads in just over a year. Mitsubishi iMiEV is one of the first electric cars to be launched in Europe. Sweden are among the first exporting countries and Mitsubishi has the capacity to produce about 800 vehicles for the Swedish market.

Zero fuel consumption, zero CO2 emissions and zero engine noise.
With C-ZERO Citroën now expands its program in the small car class with a fully electric car. It is a city car with minimum overall dimensions, length of 3.48m and a turning radius of 9 meters. It load (80% at 30 minutes) and has a range of 130 km. Citroen C-ZERO is a technology-intensive car developed in collaboration with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) and will be sold in the last quarter of 2010.

Environmental case for EVs during Climate Summit in Copenhagen

The politicians of the climate summit have been criticized for using 140 private planes and 1200 limos during the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. There are unfortunately not many electric cars or hybrid among that number.

But any solution to the climate crisis must involve active participation from the cities and the politicians. Half the world's population is today living in cities and the number is rapidly growing. Cities of the world are now responsible for
up to 80 per cent of global CO2 emissions.

"Coda is a pure electric car for everyone," said company CEO Kevin Czinger.

The Coda Sedan is producing zero-emission.
The brand is American, owned by Miles Rubin, but the rest are Chinese. The company is headquarting in Southern California. The company maintain complete control of the brand, design, and intellectual property, while finding solutions to help reduce the cost of manufacturing. The actual car is a Hafei Saibao, which has old Mitsubishi technology under the hood,
while the batteries are from Tianjin Lishe Battery Joint-Stock.

Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV

Tokyo Motor Show 2009
Mitsubishi has unveiled an all-new plug-in hybrid crossover concept ahead of its official debut at the Tokyo Motor Show. Called the Concept PX-MiEV, the four-wheel drive concept comes equipped with two electric motors that push out a total of 80bhp.
