"Coda is a pure electric car for everyone," said company CEO Kevin Czinger.

The Coda Sedan is producing zero-emission.
The brand is American, owned by Miles Rubin, but the rest are Chinese. The company is headquarting in Southern California. The company maintain complete control of the brand, design, and intellectual property, while finding solutions to help reduce the cost of manufacturing. The actual car is a Hafei Saibao, which has old Mitsubishi technology under the hood,
while the batteries are from Tianjin Lishe Battery Joint-Stock.

Plugging into an electric vehicle revolution

A road trial of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), which could one day end up in every Australian driveway, is underway according to Innovation report.

CSIRO engineers have modified the PHEVs to carry a 30Ah NiMH battery which is capable of holding a 6kWh charge, and a battery charger, to allow the cars to plug into and charge with electricity from the grid or from on-site renewable energy sources.
